Billing Terms and Conditions

How payment works when you shop at Emalia Boutique.

Currency

All prices are shown and charged in US dollars.

Payment methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and UnionPay cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. We don't currently offer pay-later or installment plans.

When you're charged

Your payment is taken when you place your order. The amount on your order confirmation email is the amount charged.

Shipping and sales tax

Shipping within the United States is free. We don't currently collect sales tax, so the total shown at checkout is the total you pay. If that ever changes, any tax will appear at checkout before you pay.

Payment security

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number.

Order checks

To protect you and us from fraud, some orders are reviewed before they ship. If we need to confirm a detail, we'll contact you. If we can't verify an order, we cancel it and refund the full amount.

Refunds

Orders cancelled within 24 hours of purchase are refunded in full. Approved returns are refunded within 7 business days of approval, to the payment method you used. Your bank may take a few more days to show the refund. See our Refund Policy for details.

Questions about a charge

If a charge looks wrong, contact us before you dispute it with your bank. We reply within 24 hours and can usually resolve it faster than a dispute.
